Guys sister and her husband rented a condo in Sunriver, Oregon. The three siblings (Guy, Amy, Dirk) and their families got to enjoy part of the week together.

Thursday was a day of talking, eating, and, mostly, playing with the kids. Also, Thursday was our day for cooking meals. I cooked my famous big breakfast of potatos, eggs, and sausage. And, I made bread: 2 loaves of regular and 2 loaves of raisin bread. Later that evening I made cinnamon rolls, too. Bread recipe here.

A little hard to see, but Guy is in the middle. His younger brother, Dirk, is leaning at the left.

Dirk's kids: Aiden (near Dirk) and Lauren (closest to camera).

Other kids belong to Guy's younger sister Amy and her husband Steve. Emma is in front of Dirk and Josh is on the couch. Nathan is missing in this picture.

Here's Steve Oakley (Amy's husband) aiding the two girls in a game of hide and seek. I started to get involved when I saw that all of the hiding places were too easy. I began to show the kids where to hide. (I used to be very good at this - and quiet. Used to make my younger sister furious.)

My favorite hiding place was downstairs. As was walking up the stairs, I noticed a hooded jacket on the end of the banister. I quickly realized that it was the same shape and size as a small kid. I got Josh to stand in front of the banister and put the hood over his head. He stayed quiet and still long enough for almost all of the adults and kids to walk right past him. It wasn't until his Dad (Steve, here) accidentally placed his hand on what was supposed to be the end of the banister.
