Praise the Lord

Gentle and melodic, this is one of my favorite melodies and accompaniments (I've sung it as a solo before). The students will love it and so will your pianist.

Composer Notes:

I wrote this piece during the same backpacking trip that I wrote "I Will Fly to the Lord", though, I have to admit, I like this one more... I think the melody flows wonderfully and the accompaniment has an almost perpetual feel to it. Whenever I remember this song, it stays in my mind for quite a while.

The big challenge for this piece is that the two chorus melodies are so strong that most of the children will just jump from one to the other.
