Praise Ye the Lord

I consider this one of my college level works. That doesn't mean it is too difficult for church choirs, but it will require some work. It is awesome to sing and listen to. Fast and powerful most of the way, it also has a beautifully luscious middle section (that's actually quite easy).

SATB choir a cappella. Challenging in places, especially if a cappella. If you use piano as a back up it would be medium difficulty.

Composer Notes:

The beginning needs some explanation. The first two "Praise Ye the Lord"s should be bouncy: syncopated in 3/4. The third time should sound surprising. Make them expect movement on the end of 2, but make them wait for 3.
