If you just read through the flashcards, you may learn something, but not much.
To get the most out of the cards challenge yourself by not looking through the cards or looking before you try to guess the answer.
When you know one of the cards well, remove it from the stack of cards.
Eventually you will have a small stack of cards that you are having trouble with. Concentrate on those for a while.
When you believe you have all of the cards memorized, start over with the entire stack.
The above process could take a few minutes or an hour, depending on how fast you memorize and how much you pay attention in class.
To be "A" student ready for tests, try to go through the cards "backwards", from Answers to Questions. Look at the word and define it in your head before checking yourself.
Use these flashcards to prepare for the semester final test.
