1) Please, spend a couple of minutes on these weblinks, especially the third one:

A. Bar Magnet into a Solenoid - See if you can predict the direction the galvanometer will move BEFORE putting the magnet in.

B. Lenz's Law - Again, be able to predict the direction of the current in the loop.

C. How a Generator Works - VERY IMPORTANT! If you only have time for one of them, let it be this one. Be sure to notice when the emf is at a maximum and minimum.

2) PreAP Magnetism 4 - I spent about 2 hours on this. It gives some answers and should really help you with magnetic induction.
